Percy moet nou weer woonstel soek. Sy werk het die deposito te laat betaal, toe verloor hy die woonstel in International City.
Bid seblief vir hom daar. Dit raak alleen en hy werk baie hard om nie so alleen te voel nie, so hy is baie moeg. Hopelik sal ek einde Nov/vroeg Desember by hom kan aansluit.

From the desk of Percy
Hi there al,
This weekend was awesome, with the exception that I miss Magriet very, very ,much. You know, you do not realize what someone means to you unless that are far from you. I have yet learned a few valuable lessons this week:
1) This country so far has been good to me in the sense that there are so many cultures and helped me to realize to understand the heart of people. People here are in dire need of our Father's love, but they are teaching me to love people for who they are.
2) I went camping this weekend, it was great. The desert is beautiful and I had my first 30m dune driving and 4x4 experience. I thought that I would challenge others to get out of their comfort zones, but the one challenged was me. I have done things here that I never thought that I would be capable of. I maybe got the bargain of my life, an FJ Cruiser for Magriet, from people who want to leave Dubai, for the same price as a new Corolla (This machine is designed for Magriet's new hobby). I just know that Magriet is going to love it here, it feels like the Lion that I had in my dreams, has finally awoken.
3) The people that I am meeting are all high profile people, and this in itself is a great challenge for me.
People are the key to God's heart and it took me a lifetime to realize this. In my life I have been so selfish, by always wanting what I want. But Christ has shown me a new way of living and a profound way to reach people, without putting myself first.

I miss all of you very much, but when Jesus called his disciples, he did not ask wait. He said come and I will make you fisher's of people.

Meer oor International City
In ons vorige blog het ek geskryf dat ons gaan bly op die 7de vloer van 'n woonstel blok in International City. Hier is meer inligting oor International City.

Goeie nuus! Percy het vandag 'n plek gekry. Dis in Lake Dreams, International City, 10 minute van sy werk af. Dis nogal 'n verskil van die 1-2 ure se vanaf Alberton na Sandton. Die woonstel is op die 7de vloer, blykbaar 2 keer groter as ons woonstel in Smithfield, Boksburg. Klink vir my asof dit lyk soos hulle in die movies wys.
Een iets wat ek nie gaan mis in Suid Afrika nie, is die "crime". Hulle het vandag my bakkie probeer steel by die Carnival Mall in Brakpan. Ok ok, julle wonder seker wat maak ek in Brakpan? Wel, ons is besig om vir ouma internet te reel sodat sy ook met Percy kan chat en e-mail.

Nuus
Hi almal. Percy het Saterdag gaan kyk na woonplekke. Dit sal waarskynlik in die Mirdif omgewing wees.
Hy is baie beindruk met die bioskoops, jy kan blykbaar 'n VIP sitplek kry wat jou heeltyd massage terwyl jy fliek kyk.
Percy se daar is Indiese kos, Thailand en vele ander, maar hy het darem al 'n vleisie gebraai saam die Suid Afrikaners.
Hy hou baie van sy baas. Daar is omtrent 60 mense wat nou aan hom rapporteer. Hy se daar's baie werk, maar hy geniet dit baie.
Die huurders het Vrydag ingetrek in Alberton. Dit was baie hartseer om daar weg te ry met die laaste vrag. 'n Era is nou verby.
Die hartseer nuus is dat ons gister gehoor het dit gaan nog 30 dae wees voordat ek by hom in Dubai kan aansluit. Het iemand vir my werk tot dan?
